Units[]
Shadow Ramunade[]
There was a unit named Shadow Ramunade when Gacha Club was first released, but was later on replaced by Meguna for unknown reasons. He was removed on July 2020, a month after Gacha Club's release date for Android.
Hasei[]
Hasei was meant to be a dark unit in Gacha Club, but she got removed before the game's release for unknown reasons.
CakuPop's Scrapped Units[]
At some point in development, CakuPop replaced 4 of her old units and updated one of them. The reason behind this is unknown.
- The units are listed below:
Missing Characters[]
Some characters have missing card artworks present in the Gacha Club website, including units such as Shadow Ryan & Manami, Corrupted Bella, Corrupted Evylln, and the additional tower bosses from DJ X to Melody.
Clubs[]
Club Rivals[]
Club Rivals was a feature meant to be in Gacha Club, first announced in Gacha Club's official Discord. It was supposed to have something to do with the battle mode, but not only the idea got scrapped, the message announcing it also got deleted. Right now there's no proof about it.
- The Club Rivals were:
- Club Vinyl vs Club X
- Club Knight vs Club Magic
- Club Dragon vs Club Legend
- Club Duck vs Club Whale
- Club Gamer vs Club Glitch
- Club All-Star vs Club UwU
- Club Neko vs Club Fluffy
- Club Cyan vs Club Rose
- Club Lore vs Club Miyako
- Club Potato vs Club Schmelly
- Club Bubble Tea vs Club Candy
- Club Phantom vs Club Danger
- Club Bamboo vs Club Cosplay
- Club Rainbow vs Club Dream
- Club Rhythm vs Club Kawaii
Club Miyako[]
Club Miyako is a scrapped club whose theme is unknown. Right now there's also no proof about it. (Word is that Miyako was a minor who shouldn't be on Discord anyways so her club got deleted after she got exposed. I obtained this information from the lore community under Lunime Curator E-Aria so the information may not be 100% accurate as I relay this information.)
Artwork[]
Manami Lin’s art[]
This was an early version of Manami Lin's art. However, it still appears in the Usagi vs. Neko minigame.
Bex's Art[]
Bex had two unused artworks, one for her normal version and one for her corrupted version.
Emiko’s art[]
Emiko originally was going to have the image below as her Gacha Club battle card illustration. However, it was replaced by the one you see in Gacha Club today. This art can still be found by going to the “Follow the artists!” section via “Gacha Club News”.
Corrupted Emiko also had an unused version of her variant, but because of explicit blood appearing on the art, it was also possibly scrapped for that certain reason.
Game Features[]
Music Battle[]
There was going to be a planned "Music Battle" mini game at the time when the game was still in development, where the gameplay would play similarly to your typical rhythm game experience. This was however later removed for certain reasons unknown.
Unused Body Pillow Prop[]
In one of the leaks during the game's development, there was an appearing prop in a form of a body pillow with DJ Leak's character in it. This however, also didn't make it into the final product to the game, possibly to avoid usage for any possible suggestive content.
Beta Tutorial Screen[]
Near Gacha Club's launch day, Lunime posted on Twitter Gacha Club's beta tutorial which was supposed to feature diverse characters and more slides for each mode instead of just Bella and Usalina explaining everything in one slide for each mode though Bella and Usalina were featured in the beta tutorial.
The characters were:
- Customize - Bella
- Studio - Luni
- Gacha - Lado
- Units - Lemo and Yuni
- Battles - Rein
- Mini Games - Unknown due to Lunime not posting it on Twitter
Phone[]
Gacha Club Phone, or just Phone, was a short-lived feature in Gacha Club first making an appearance in version 1.0.0. It could be accessed via the options menu and was mainly used for inputting secret codes that could be found in the game and receiving special prizes for entering them. The only known secret code could be found after tapping the 'Phone Results' title which is present on the Phone menu.
This feature was removed from the game after the release of version 1.0.2. The reason behind the removal is currently unknown.
