File Guidelines

Lunime Wiki, ever since its launch, has been open to contributing files. Files are a piece of media that help the reader to illustrate the spoken topic and get a better grasp of it. However, not all files are good files. While a lot of them featured in the articles do an amazing job to make this project better, a minority of them uploaded by users aren't used in any shape or form and are left to collect dust.

This is the official file policy of the Lunime Wiki. Here are the rules listed that must be kept in mind when uploading new files to the wiki. Defiance of the listed rules will result in a warning, removal of the file or a block, depending on the severity of disobedience.

Rules

• Do not upload files as a replacement to a preexisting file. There's a 'Upload a new version of this file' button for that.
• If the file you're trying to update doesn't match the file type of the initial, please contact the wiki staff. They will remove the initial image for you.
• A comprehensive name for your file is essential. For example, it can be a name of the game you got it from or a name of the character featured in it.
• Files ripped out of the game files are tolerable under a few circumstances. However, sprite sheets are strongly prohibited.
• Feel free to add a category to the file you're uploading. It is not necessary, but it helps out a lot.
• Unused files over time will be removed from the wiki. Therefore, please make sure that the file you're uploading will be used for articles.
