Charactery is an uncommon glitch that appears in Gachaverse, Gacha Life, Gacha Life 2, and Gacha Club. It can occur if the game is unable to crash properly, the save data is corrupted, or if there is not enough free space on your device.
Fixing[]
Gacha Life 2[]
Currently, there is only one way to fix the bug in Gacha Life 2, if it already occurred. To solve it, the player has to do the following steps:
- Visit the Gacha simulator by tapping on its respective button at the bottom panel.
- Tap on the button titled 'Collection', located at the bottom near one's Gacha stats. This will open up a new menu, dedicated to showing how many characters one has collected through the simulator.
- Tap on the 'Add Slot' button, located near the chosen character. A new window will show up, prompting the player to select a character slot one wants to replace with the previously picked Gacha character.
- Select the character slot with the corrupted character. The window will automatically close down and the corrupted character will be replaced with the character from the Gacha simulator.
Since this solving of the bug is based off of switching the corrupted code with new code, there is a risk of losing one's character that was affected by the glitch. Thus, it is strongly advised to save code of every character the player has created within the game.
This fix does not apply to the PC version of Gacha Life 2 due to the Gacha simulator not being implemented there. To fix the Charactery bug on the PC version of the game, the player has to reset their entire save data by going to the Options menu and tapping on the 'Reset Data' button. That way the player loses all of their characters they have created before.
Trivia[]
- Charactery also appears as a 6-star preset character in Gacha Life 2, under the name of 'Legendary Charactery'.
- Charactery was formerly referred to as Uh-kun by the community, due to them being pictured saying 'Uh'.
- Uh-kun's female counterpart's given name was Ah-chan.
