Gacha Resort is an anime-styled adventure and collecting game, a playful "sequel" to Gacha World. Gacha Resort takes the Gacha Summoner to Luni's newly created resort along with Ellie and much of the previous game's cast to enjoy a nice vacation after freeing the Luniverse from corruption. This time the player does not have an avatar and acts mostly as observer. In this game, players can now collect old and brand-new characters whose skin tone and swimsuits are customizable, play beach-related minigames, fight battles, and give gifts to the others to increase your bond with them. While gems return as a currency, gold has been replaced by shells. The game also contains an obvious amount of fan service.

Gameplay[]

Story[]
A series of turn-based battles tied together with short cutscenes, each chapter starring a different character. The player can set up their team of gacha-drawn characters and has full control over their battle actions.
The game's storyline is 25 chapters long and is unfinished, ending ina cliffhanger with the 5 main antagonists escaping their dimension and starting to destroy the resort as the players begin to hunt for Lucas who may be their only hope.
Adventure[]
A series of battles of your team vs 1-3 other characters. This battle is automatic and the only thing the player can do, is select the enemy they want to attacked first. During the battle, for each blow that a character of your team will successfully deal to the enemy, the bar of the "Beach Frenzy" will be lengthened. Once it's full, if clicked (when the game is put in auto mode it will activate automatically), the team will begin to attack the enemies at a higher speed until the bar reaches zero. This function can be used several times per battle.

A variety of beach-related mini-games. By playing mini-games, the player can receive rewards of shells and gems depending on their final score and the difficulty level.
Beach Relay[]
An automatic battle against a single powerful opponent. Each star ranking has its own relay. Beating your opponent earns you gems.

Each battle requires a specific set of characters to be unlocked. If you have the requirements, you enter a short cutscene (easy mode only) followed by a turn-based battle which rewards character XP.
